Community Guidelines
Last updated: October 2026
TeeUp House is a community of golfers. These guidelines keep it welcoming, honest and safe. They apply to everything you post — games, reviews, messages, posts, stories, comments, photos and listings — and breaking them can lead to content removal, suspension or a permanent ban.
Be respectful
- Treat other players with courtesy. No harassment, hate speech, threats or bullying.
- No sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.
- Don’t impersonate other people, clubs or TeeUp House.
Play fair
- Show up to games you join, and mark attendance honestly as a host.
- Reviews are for courses you actually played — write them fairly and from experience.
- Your amateur/professional status and any club or handicap you enter should be truthful.
Trade honestly
- List only items you own and may legally sell. No counterfeit, stolen or prohibited goods.
- Describe items and prices accurately, and keep the conversation in the app.
- Payment and delivery are arranged between you and the other person, so meet somewhere public and check the item before you pay. Keep the conversation in the app: if something goes wrong, that thread is what our moderation team can act on. Pushing someone off the platform to avoid that violates these guidelines.
- Only mark a sale for the member who actually bought the item, and never ask anyone to confirm or review a sale that didn’t happen. Sales that different buyers keep declining are reviewed by our team.
Keep it safe
- Don’t share others’ private information, and be careful with your own.
- No spam, scams, or links to malicious content.
Clubs, pro shops and agencies
Organisations follow the same guidelines. Course pages, posts, promotions, tee times, tournaments and replies to reviews must be accurate, and prices and arrangements you agree with players in messages must be honest and kept.
Reporting & moderation
Content passes through automated filtering, and you can report any listing, review, post, comment, story, message or user, and block people you don’t want to interact with. Our team reviews every report within 24 hours and removes content that breaks these guidelines.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. The accounts responsible are suspended or permanently removed from TeeUp House — without warning where the breach is serious.
These guidelines complement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
